Future Achievers Program

What is it?

The Future Achievers program is a series of life enrichment workshops focused on sharing information related to personal finance, preparing for college, preparing for the workplace, giving back to the community & civic engagement, and health & wellness. The program also offers summer programming that gives students an opportunity for a deeper experience in a particular subject matter. The Job Readiness-Summer Program gives students an opportunity to intern with a business of their choice. Students will learn the opportunities that will be available to them in the future and the skills/training required to secure those opportunities.

Who is it for?

The Future Achievers program is for all high school freshman through seniors throughout Richmond/Wayne County, that are willing to take steps to reach their goals. This program is great for any student that would like to build a network of contacts and resources that would help him/her in the future.

When is it?

The five week life enrichment workshops will be held  April 2, 2019 thru April 30, 2019.  Workshops will take place once a week on  Tuesday and run from 6:00pm to 8:00p.

College Prep Summer Program: TBD

Where is it?

The April 2019 Life Enrichment Workshop will be held on the campus of IVY Tech, Richmond, IN. As workshops and other events are made public, the location will also be shared.

What are the costs?

There is a small $10.00 fee for the April 2019 Life Enrichment workshop. This fee will help cover the cost of meals and program materials.
