What is it?

A continuum of life enrichment workshops that seek to further educate high school students four key areas: banking/personal finance; job readiness; college preparation; giving back to the community.

What are the specific programs?

Future Achievers 101 is a 5 week course that provides students with an introduction to the five key areas. The job readiness summer program consists of a 3 day training program focused on: job searching, resume writing, interviewing, and dressing for the workplace. Students will also participate in a 5 week non-paid internship that will help them to gain an appreciation of education and expectations within the work environment. The college prep summer program seeks to enlighten students to their educational opportunities beyond high school, through visits to various colleges and universities

How will my financial or in-kind contribution help?

Your contribution will support the program’s efforts in three areas: program supplies (i.e. educational resources, student meals, program materials…); operations (i.e. marketing materials, insurance, website development, other business needs, hiring/maintaing of staff…); program development (i.e. establishment of new programs, training expenses, consulting expenses…)
