Future Achievers Program

What is it?

The Future Achievers program is a series of life enrichment workshops focused on sharing information related to personal finance, preparing for college, preparing for the workplace, and giving back to the community . The program also offers summer programming that gives students an opportunity for a deeper experience in a particular subject matter. The Job Readiness-Summer Program gives students an opportunity to intern with a business of their choice. Students will learn the opportunities that will be available to them in the future and the skills/training required to secure those opportunities.

Who is it for?

The Future Achievers program is for all high school freshman through seniors throughout Richmond/Wayne County, that are on track to graduate with a general diploma or better. This program is great for any student that would like to build a network of contacts and resources that would help him/her meet their future goals.

When is it?

The program is offered twice during the school year. Both sessions contain the same information so you only need to attend one session. The four life enrichment workshops will be held  April 9, 2013 thru May 7, 2013.  Workshops will take place once a week on  Tuesday and run from 6:00pm to 8:00p.

Job Readiness- Summer Internship Program:  begins June 4, 2013

Where is it?

All workshops will take place at the Innovation Center, 814 East Main St, Richmond IN.

What are the costs?

The program is completely free. Students are also provided a meal during each workshop.
